Electrical Engineering School “Mija Stanimirović” educates 804 students for 5 occupations of the fourth degree:

Electrical Engineering School “Mija Stanimirović” has 110 employees, of which 90 are teachers. Special attention is paid to the development of digital competencies of teachers and the increasing application of digital technologies in teaching.

The electrical engineering school “Mija Stanimirović” has gone through various reforms and reconstructions on the way to its existence. In January 2009, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia awarded the ETSH “Mija Stanimirović” the Saint Sava Award for exceptional contribution to the development of education in Serbia.

The school follows modern trends, improves work techniques and methods using modern means and equipment, cooperates with a large number of social partners, schools in the country and abroad by participating in important projects and continuously adapts to modern educational trends. The main principles of the strategy of further development are the professionalism of the teaching staff, work in the interest of the child, education of professional staff, ready to get involved in the world of work, but also to continue their education.

The Kranj School Center was created by merging the Technical School Center Kranj and the Center of Economic and Service Schools from Kranj. Thus, the School Center continued and united the tradition of Kranj high schools, which began after the Second World War.

Classes take place in modern classrooms, laboratories and workshops.

The school center has signed agreements with more than 300 companies and organizations where pupils and students can perform practical training. Adult education is conducted in parallel with the regular education of students. The school center consists of five organizational units:

  1. Technical High School (with programs in informatics, electronics and mechatronics),

  1. High school of economics, vocational and civil school

  2. Specialist high school,

  3. Faculty of Vocational Education (mechatronics, informatics, electrical energy, economics),

  1. Inter-company education center in which trainings are conducted and realized: cooperation between the school center and the economy.

1,500 students are included in the programs of the secondary vocational and technical school, while 600 students attend the programs of the vocational college and about 300 students attend the programs for adult education.

The programs are also open to students with special needs, to successful athletes and talented students.
